Christine Doebler and her husband Matt have served as WELS missionaries for the past 10 years in Asia, and now they are embarking on a new adventure to Brisbane, Australia.  The daughter of Pastor Carl and Lou Pagel, Christine grew up in Wisconsin and Michigan and attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary and Wisconsin Lutheran College.  The Doeblers have been married for 29 years and have three grown children, a son and daughter in-law, and 1 grandson, Oliver.   

 

Christine is a licensed professional coach and loves to share the Gospel in one-on-one mentoring situations, in small group Bible studies, and by hosting outreach events.  She and Matt love to teach together on Christian marriage and Biblical sexuality.  Christine is excited to be a part of the mission team that is focussing on Asian expats in Australia, as well as partnering with the local church in Brisbane. She is continually amazed at how God provides for His people when they step out in faith, and she can't wait to see what He's going to do in Australia.  

 

In her spare time, she likes to write for her husband's "Gospel-Centered Mentoring" Substack (www.gospelcenteredmentoring.site) facilitate online Christian book studies, play board games, and sing karaoke.
