Jake was born in Racine, Wisconsin, but has lived in La Crosse, Wisconsin for most of his life. Living in an area with lots of hiking and other outdoor recreation made for a fun and adventurous childhood! Jake currently serves as a missionary in Metro Manila, Philippines.

 

Before moving to Manila in September of 2022, Jake lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2021, he worked as a Support Teacher for 2nd grade at St. Marcus School in Milwaukee. Jake has always had a love for ministry, kids, and seeing new places, so the opportunity to share Jesus with others and travel to a new part of the world was too good to pass up! Some of the work that he gets to do in the mission field includes getting involved in various organizations throughout Metro Manila, including volunteering with Special Olympics Pilipinas and playing flag football at the University of Philippines - Diliman and other places within the Metro.
