Micah, Christina, and Asher look forward to moving their family from little Mequon, WI to Metro Manila, Philippines.

 

Both Micah (from Baraboo, WI) and Christina (from Phoenix, AZ) have experience in ministry and missions. After graduating from Martin Luther College, each moved to cities in East Asia in 2019. Although the pandemic changed their plans, they never forgot this ministry even while keeping busy throughout the following years. Christina served as a teacher at Christ-St. Peter in Milwaukee, WI while Micah earned a master's degree, completing his pastoral studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. During that time, they got married in 2022, served a Vicar year at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tucson, AZ, and returned to Mequon, where Micah directed a campus ministry program through a local congregation. 

 

The Ottos have a passion for hospitality and the unique way God's grace permeates relationships and are excited to implement these things in their friendships in Manila. With their ministry experience, they will be assisting the local church in Novaliches, teaming up with the TELL Network, engaging in the culture of yet another corner of God's beautiful creation, and living out and sharing the gospel in whatever opportunities they can find.
